Internet Network Services, Ltd. was a UK-based provider of Internet access and high-capacity private networks to both large corporate and smaller ISP's. Spectrum was introduced to the opportunity by another investor who sought a value added partner with significant industry expertise to assist in the further development of the company. The fund's investment was used to support further development of the company's network and product offerings as well as the expansion of its geographic footprint to other markets within the UK. Following the build out of the network the company was approached by several strategic buyers and was subsequently sold to Cable & Wireless plc.
