Co-Founder & CEO Biography

Richard Londesborough is BMI’s Co-founder/CEO. Graduating with joint honours in Economics and Statistics from Exeter University, he was Finance Editor of The Mexico City News, corresponded for Reuters and The Sunday Times, and was commissioned by Harvard University to research the Nationalization of Mexico’s Banking System. Prior to Mexico, Richard worked as a reporter for one year in Iran.

Richard co-founded BMI in 1984 and, as one of the company’s two CEOs, has driven its rapid expansion into one of the fastest growing companies in the information sector, with clients in over 140 countries. Richard was a co-founder and Chairman of the UK Newsletter Electronic Publishers Association (UK NEPA) in 1999, and board member for six years. He is a frequent speaker at information industry events including Online Information, SIPA (Specialized Information Publishers Association), NEPA, PMD and BMI’s own events.

Co-Founder & CEO Biography

Jonathan Feroze is BMI’s co-founder/CEO. Graduating with honours in History of Art from Cambridge University, he founded and edited the bi-lingual business newspaper, Encuentro, published by The Mexico City News, and corresponded for The Sunday Times. In 1984, he co-founded Business Monitor International, which rapidly grew to develop customers in over 140 countries around the world, for which the company was honoured with the prestigious Queen’s Award for Exports in 1997.

Jonathan is a former Chairman and current Treasurer of the UK Newsletter Electronic Publishers Association (UK NEPA), and has spoken at numerous information industry events, including UK & US SIPA, Directory Publishers Association (DPA), European Business Intelligence Conference (EBIC/ TFPL), InfoUSA (OneSource), and the European Business School Libraries Group (EBSLG).
