In late 2005, he passed his presidential responsibilities onto Keith Ely and has recently taken on the role of Chairman of the Board for Passport. He began his career in 1978 working in the financial administration department for a 300-bed community hospital. Over the years, he has served as a consultant for Ernst & Young, LLP and for a managed Medicaid intermediary. He was Assistant Vice President of Administration for HealthAmerica Corporation, Vice President of Administration and founding officer for Coventry Corporation, and President of FOCUS Healthcare Management.
