Black Crow Media, L.L.C. is a radio broadcasting company that owns and operates radio stations in small- to mid-sized markets (sub-75 Arbitron ranking) in the southeastern United States. The company currently owns and operates 19 FM and seven AM stations in four geographic clusters: Daytona Beach, FL; Huntsville, AL; Jackson, TN; and Valdosta, GA. Spectrum's investment in Black Crow was made in support of a recapitalization to buy out a non active shareholder and provide capital for growth. Following the initial investment the Spectrum funds provided additional capital in conjunction with the acquisition of stations in adjoining markets to support the company's geographic roll-out.
