Based in Cambridge, England, the company was a leader in creating innovative billing solutions primarily for the European marketplace. Spectrum provided Geneva with equity capital for partial liquidity for its founders, as well as growth. Spectrum played an active role in helping management expand the business to the US market by assisting in the recruiting of Geneva's first US managers and by providing introductions to customers and partners. Geneva was acquired by Convergys Corporation (NYSE:CVG) in April 2001.
