NetScreen Technologies, Inc. was a leading developer of ASIC-based Internet security systems and appliances. Its customers included Cox Communications, Cable & Wireless, Williams Communications and Acer. Spectrum provided NetScreen with equity capital to further its growth and accelerate development of new products. The company went public in 2001 and was acquired by Juniper Networks, Inc. (NASDAQ:JNPR) in April 2004.
