HealthMEDX Rated the #1 Solution for Value & Customer Loyalty

Ozark, MO - HealthMEDX® is a top-tier leader in the KLAS annual report for the second consecutive year. The 2014 KLAS report entitled “Long-Term Care 2014: Which Vendors Deliver on the Fundamentals?” rates HealthMEDX as the #1 EMR vendor in a number of categories, including value and customer loyalty and development of new technology. HealthMEDX is the only vendor in which 100% of customers surveyed for the KLAS 2014 report indicated they would buy the product again.

In a healthcare market experiencing an increasing number of acquisitions and mergers, scalability is critical. Long-term care EMR technology must not only deliver integration and efficiencies across all long-term care settings, but must also be adaptable and robust enough to streamline workflows and generate sophisticated data regardless of organizational size and structure. When looking at survey respondents by size, HealthMEDX outpaced the competition, rating #1 among providers with greater than 200 beds.

The report highlights the increasingly critical role long-term care providers are playing within the care continuum and calls out the fact that they must have the ability to continually adapt to evolving regulations and greater demands to deliver quality, cost-effective care. More than at any other time, long-term care providers must rely on a technology platform capable of delivering exceptional value now and as the healthcare market continue to evolve.

HealthMEDX is rated #1 in product development, with customers citing HealthMEDX’s strategic vision for the future and commitment to product innovation. The report quotes one Chief Information Officer as saying “HealthMEDX is doing a good job of really evaluating the future integration needs of long-term care. They pay attention to the whole continuum of care between the hospitals, pharmacies, and long-term care facilities and to the need for those areas to be electronically integrated. With the HealthMEDX Exchange (interoperability) architecture they are putting together, I think they’re doing a good job of looking forward to what the overall business-model requirements are going to be for long-term care.”

Finally, in a market in which many long-term care providers have limited IT staff to deploy and maintain EMR systems, the KLAS report called out the importance of support and relationships. HealthMEDX is rated #1 for the strong involvement of its’ executive team and for customer communications, and it is the only vendor in which 100% of respondents said they would buy the product again. In particular, customers cite HealthMEDX commitment to delivering full value on day one of going live with the technology. One Vice President of Operations quoted in the report said “Overall, our experience with HealthMEDX® Vision has been very positive. The HealthMEDX people are very responsive, all the way up to the CEO. We did a big-bang implementation, so we went from a heavy paper system to completely paperless in one shot through all of our departments. HealthMEDX is very responsive and willing to work with us. They were able to think outside the box to get our implementation done in way customized to our needs.”

Gerry McCarthy, Chief Strategy Officer for HealthMEDX, said “We believe this report validates that HealthMEDX is the market leader for large, complex LTPAC organizations with more than 200 beds. HealthMEDX’ commitment to helping our customers improve care delivery and business outcomes is reflected in our #1 position in the Value and Customer Loyalty category. Our top position in support and our ability to drive efficiencies through scalability and product flexibility prepare HMX customers for the future. Finally, the report confirms our position as the market leader when it comes to strategic vision and innovation. We are honored to lead in the KLAS rankings for the second consecutive year.”
