Shared Technologies Acquires United Asset Coverage
(February 26, 2007) – Shared Technologies Inc. has acquired United Asset Coverage Inc. (UAC).
Details of the transaction were not disclosed.
Illinois-based UAC provides integrated telecommunications and data networking maintenance services through a network of 41 offices across the country.
Shared Technologies had previously acquired two UAC subsidiaries in April 2006. Prior to the closing of the new deal, it provided monitoring and technical support services to the majority of UAC's enterprise clients under a subcontracting arrangement.
