Salt Lake City, UT
In its first year of
eligibility, Interbank FX (IBFX.com), a worldwide
provider of online foreign currency (Forex/FX) trading,
was named to Inc. magazine’s renowned Inc. 500 – an
annual ranking of the fastest growing privately held
companies in the United States. With annual revenue
growth exceeding 3,224 percent since 2004, IBFX placed
an impressive 46th on the coveted list and ranked as the
fifth fastest growing company in the Financial Services
Category.
“This recognition from Inc. is a tribute to the
loyalty of our more than 25,000 customers in 140
countries around the world, as well as the tireless
efforts and dedication of the IBFX team,” said Todd
Crosland, Chairman and President of Interbank FX. “Being
named a member of the Inc. 500, and more specifically
attaining the 5th spot in the Financial Services
Category, is a great honor. We look forward to
continuing to raise the bar for 2009 and beyond.”
First introduced in 1982, the Inc. 500 recognizes
companies which drive the U.S. economy, crossing a wide
range of sectors including consumer products, financial
services, retail and technology. The Inc. 500 is ranked
according to percentage revenue growth over a four-year
period.
IBFX’s inclusion in this year’s Inc. 500 is the
latest in a myriad of corporate accolades the company
has received in 2008. Last month, IBFX was named Best
Online FX Provider and Finalist for the Best Active
Trading Platform at the 2008 MoneyAM Online Finance
Awards in London. The company was also recently honored
as the Best Foreign Exchange Broker by Shares Magazine
and was a finalist for three 2008 American Business
Awards, including Best Chairman (Todd Crosland), Best
Marketing Executive (Marilyn McDonald) and Best New
Product or Service (IBFXU).
