Rightside Hires VP of Marketing

Kirkland, Wash., - Rightside (Nasdaq:NAME), a leading provider of domain name services that advance the way businesses and consumers define and present themselves online, has hired Bill Glenn as its Vice President of Marketing.

With 20 years of experience in developing and executing successful marketing strategies and building high-performing marketing and alliances teams, Glenn will enhance Rightside's family of brands, advancing the company's growth and leadership position in the market. In the rapidly evolving environment of generic Top Level Domains (gTLDs), Glenn's understanding of business development planning and brand promotion will increase awareness of gTLDs to a broader consumer and enterprise audience.

Glenn was previously the vice president of marketing at Socrata, where he helped the organization to grow revenue significantly and successfully secure a $30 million series C round of financing. Prior to joining Socrata, Glenn was named the first vice president of alliances at Limeade, where he helped develop and launch the first business development strategy and partner program for the organization. Before Limeade, Glenn held the position of vice president of marketing and alliances at TalentWise, where he helped support a fast-growing direct sales organization with successful demand generation programs and was responsible for driving revenue through the channel. He has also held marketing leadership roles at Onyx, Concur and T-Mobile.

Rightside CEO Taryn Naidu said: "Bill's experience developing and executing integrated marketing strategies will be a great asset as we move beyond our TLD acquisition phase and focus more investment on driving awareness, education and adoption of our portfolio of 39 TLDs. We are excited to welcome him to the Rightside leadership team."

Glenn is a graduate of Miami University and Northwestern University's Kellogg School of Management.
