Seamless Continues to Build Leadership Team and Board of Directors Amid Accelerated Growth

New York, NY - Seamless, the leading mobile and online service for ordering delivery and takeout food from more than 9,500 restaurants in the US and UK, today announced the addition of Brian McAndrews, Venture Partner with Madrona Venture Group, to the company's board of directors. Seamless has also hired two highly experienced e-commerce veterans to its leadership team -- Sanjay Tiwary as Chief Information Officer and Lizzy Klein as Vice President, Product. Both Tiwary and Klein bring extensive experience building highly trafficked websites and mobile applications for national brands such as Zagat, Bankrate and Priceline.

"We're seeing accelerated growth across all of our platforms, with a particularly steep trajectory on mobile devices. We have expanded our board and leadership team to help us continue that growth across an expanding geographic footprint as well as product innovation efforts across our industry-leading mobile platforms," said Jonathan Zabusky, Seamless CEO. "Brian is one of the most accomplished leaders in the digital marketing and local advertising spaces; his deep operating experience and perspective will be an invaluable asset on our board. We are also fortunate to have Sanjay and Lizzy, who each have extensive industry-relevant experiences across online and mobile platforms, and have already been instrumental in shaping the next generation of Seamless innovation."

In addition to his work at Madrona Venture Group, McAndrews currently serves on the boards of AdReady, Clearwire and Fisher Communications. McAndrews previously served as CEO of aQuantive Inc., one of the fastest-growing global digital marketing companies in the world which Microsoft acquired for $6 billion in 2007. Prior to aQuantive, McAndrews worked for ABC Inc., a broadcasting and communications company, holding executive positions at ABC Entertainment and ABC Television Network before becoming Executive VP and GM for ABC Sports. McAndrews earned a Bachelor of Arts in Economics from Harvard University, and an MBA from the Stanford Graduate School of Business.

"Seamless is changing the way people think about food by providing a leading-edge and immersive ordering experience that includes a wealth of information, ratings, photos and reviews along with intuitive mobile and web platforms for a simple and fun way to order," said McAndrews. "What's more, the company is helping local restaurants build their businesses, which includes growing their customer bases and bottom lines. I'm looking forward to working with Jonathan, his leadership team and the board as we drive growth, reach, and innovation for Seamless in 2012 and beyond."

Helping to continue Seamless' momentous growth, Tiwary and Klein bring rich mobile, food, technology and commerce experience to the Seamless leadership team. Most recently, Tiwary served as CIO of Bankrate Insurance, a division of Bankrate.com and the insurance industry's largest and fastest growing lead generation company. Prior to Bankrate Insurance, he was CIO of Netquote from 2007 until its merger with Bankrate in 2010. From 2000 to 2007, Tiwary served as VP of Corporate Information Systems at Priceline.com. During his tenure, Priceline was ranked No. 40 on Business 2.0's list of the 100 fastest-growing technology companies. Tiwary holds a bachelor's degree in Electronics and Communications Engineering and is a published technology author.
Prior to joining Seamless, Klein was VP at Folica.com, one of the country's largest privately held e-commerce companies, where she was responsible for the end-to-end customer experience. Previously, she was a GM and SVP Interactive at Zagat, where she won a Webby Award for the launch of Zagat's mobile site prior to the company's acquisition by Google in 2011. Klein joined Zagat from Everyday Health where, as VP of Products, she launched the flagship EverydayHealth.com, WhatToExpect.com and JillianMichaels.com, which combined reached an average of over 12 million unique visitors per month in 2012.
