WBL Selects RCN Business for “Big Game”

New York, NY - RCN Business, an industry-leading provider of high-speed Internet, all digital TV and phone services, announces it has been selected by WBL Services to provide Big Data connectivity for the media center’s communications and data transport in the New York tri-state area for the “Big Game” this Sunday. As part of the agreement, RCN Business is providing big data circuits to WBL Services to enable HDTV live video and advanced voice communications, allowing millions of Americans this weekend to enjoy the play-by-play action, from the stadium to their living rooms.

Connectivity includes the MetLife Stadium, home of the “Big Game”, the Sheraton NYC, and the “Big Game” Boulevard (Broadway from 34th Street to 42nd Street). Connectivity also includes other key locations, such as 1441 Broadway, Pennsylvania Hotel and 1133 Avenue of the Americas.“RCN Business installed these large data circuits well ahead of time despite the short notice,” states Bill Lipscomb, Senior Principal of WBL Services. “The communication network was installed in a very professional, efficient manner with prompt and transparent support from RCN’s 24-hour operations team. As a result, we are ready and look forward to this weekend’s ‘Big Game’.” WBL Services provides cutting-edge telecommunication services and support for CenturyLink Field and Event Center in Seattle.
