WeddingWire Appoints New Board of Director

Chevy Chase, MD – WeddingWire, Inc., leading global online marketplace connecting consumers with event and creative professionals, announces that Barbara Martin Coppola, Chief Marketing Officer of GrubHub, has been appointed to WeddingWire’s Board of Directors and will serve as an independent director on the Board’s Compensation Committee and Audit Committee.

Coppola has 17 years of technology marketing experience across more than nine countries. Currently, as CMO of GrubHub, the nation’s leading online and mobile food ordering company, she is responsible for driving the company’s marketing programs to raise awareness for GrubHub’s technology and its positive impact on restaurants and diners. Prior to GrubHub, Coppola spent seven years at Google, during which she held marketing leadership roles for Google Express, YouTube, Chromecast, and Google France. Coppola’s experience also includes success with industry leaders, Samsung and Texas Instruments.

Coppola holds a Master of Science in Telecommunications Engineering from Universidad Politecnica de Madrid, a Master of Science in Mobile Communications from E.N.S.T (Telecom Paris), and an MBA in Business Administration and Management from INSEAD. She is also a graduate of the Advanced Management Program at Harvard Business School.

Barbara will replace Liddy Manson, who has served as an independent director on the company’s board of directors since 2008.
