WeddingWire Delivers Best-in-Class Education at “WeddingWire World” Conference

Chevy Chase, MD - WeddingWire Inc., the wedding industry’s largest vertical marketplace and global category leader, will host its annual industry conference, WeddingWire World, in Washington, D.C. on March 16-17, 2015. Over the course of two days, wedding and event professionals from across North America will receive competitive information about the latest in marketing, sales, technology and events industry trends to keep their businesses ahead of the curve.

This year, several successful entrepreneurs will present at the event - including the winner of NBC’s “The Apprentice,” Bill Rancic, star of TLC’s “Say Yes to the Dress: Atlanta,” Monte Durham, and winner of TLC’s “Cake Boss: The Next Great Baker,” Dana Herbert.

“Each year, we offer wedding and event professionals the ultimate educational experience to help them take their business to the next level,” said Sonny Ganguly, CMO, WeddingWire. “It’s exciting to kick-off another year of providing top-tier education and networking opportunities here at WeddingWire World. This is the largest installment of our annual event, as it has doubled in size from previous years. In addition to two full days of education featuring a series of marquee speakers, the event will be packed with opportunities for attendees to improve their networking - on and offline - including:

  • A complimentary photography service where attendees may get a new professional digital headshot taken
  • A dedicated networking area called “Education Alley” where attendees can meet and connect with several professional industry associations

WeddingWire will also give attendees a sneak peak at a series of exciting new award programs and business products. For the first time ever, more than 20 attendees will be named as winners of the first annual Weddi Awards, which will highlight some of 2014’s most successful industry professionals from the WeddingWire Network. The company will also celebrate those wedding and event professionals who have collected more than 250 and 500 reviews on the site and induct them into the respective new WeddingWire Rated levels. Additionally, attendees will have the opportunity to see live demonstrations of all new technology made especially for wedding professionals and their businesses, including business websites, along with two new apps to help manage clients and reviews.

The national conference began in 2011 in Washington, D.C. and has more than doubled in size over the years.
