Definitive Healthcare Featured in Deloitte’s 2018 Technology Fast 500 for the Second Consecutive Year

Framingham, MA - Definitive Healthcare, the leading provider of data, intelligence, and analytics on the healthcare provider market, announced today that it was ranked #184 on Deloitte’s Technology Fast 500 list for 2018. The list ranks the 500 North American companies with the highest growth in the fields of technology, media, telecommunications, life science, and energy tech companies from 2014 through 2017.

In the past three years, Definitive Healthcare’s revenue grew by 528 percent, and, in the last year alone, the employee base grew from 200 hundred to an anticipated 300 by the end of 2018. In addition to considerable organic growth, Definitive has acquired two competitors: U.S. Lifeline in 2015 and Billian’s HealthDATA in 2016. Currently, the company serves 9 of the top 10 pharmaceutical companies, 7 of the top 10 healthcare information technology firms, and other businesses in a variety of industries seeking healthcare analytics.

“We are incredibly excited about the growth of Definitive Healthcare and the meaningful recognition by Delioitte for the second year in a row," said Jason Krantz, CEO of Definitive Healthcare. "With 300 dedicated team members and an unwavering customer-focused strategy, we have been able to expand our data and analytics platform to meet the needs of our nearly 2,000 customers in a rapidly changing healthcare landscape. We are committed to helping our clients understand the complex healthcare market – and the many individuals, organizations, and dynamics within it – so they can improve their market penetration and identify opportunities to grow their businesses.”

This is the second consecutive year Deloitte recognized Definitive Healthcare in its Technology Fast 500™. Earlier this year Definitive was recognized for rapid growth by Inc. 5000 in its list of fastest-growing private companies in the U.S., and by the Boston Business Journal in its Fast 50. Definitive has also been recognized as a Best Place to Work by both Boston Business Journal and the Boston Globe for two years in a row.

“Recognition from businesses like Deloitte are always an honor, and validates our company's commitment to innovation,” Krantz continued. “Definitive healthcare is launching new, relevant, and integrated data assets regularly and will dramatically expand its analytics offerings in 2019. Every day we are focused on building the insights that ensure our customers, old and new, can reach their market potential.”
