HealthMEDX Welcomes Craig Frazier, new Chief Operating Officer/ Announces Retirement of Charlie Daniels, President

Ozark, MO - HealthMEDX announced that Craig Frazier has joined the company as Chief Operating Officer. A distinguished leader in healthcare information technology, Frazier brings to this position extensive experience leading all aspects of operations, including development, professional services, client support, product management, sales, marketing and business development. Having worked in both the acute and post-acute care settings, Frazier has a keen understanding of the regulatory and reimbursement issues impacting providers and driving technological change within the healthcare industry.

As Senior Vice President and General Manager of McKesson’s Post-Acute IT business, Frazier was responsible for all operational aspects of the division over an 8 year period, with particular focus on development, customer service, and communications.

Most recently, as President of Intuitive Medical Software, he provided operational leadership to this start-up healthcare technology firm. In 2011, Frazier championed the strategic sale of the company to Endo Health Solutions (NASDAQ: ENDP), resulting in a very strong return to shareholders.

According to Frazier, the decision to join HealthMEDX was an easy one. Frazier says “I had a front row seat watching the HealthMEDX success story since its beginning. The reputation HealthMEDX has earned is fantastic. They are the premier post-acute care software vendor in the country. I know it will be a dynamic, exciting place to be over the coming years and I am thrilled to be a part of it.”

In his new role as HealthMEDX COO, Frazier has responsibility for all facets of day to day operations. His strong background in operations, combined with his experience and commitment to collaborating with customers to drive business solutions make him a perfect fit for HealthMEDX says Pam Pure, CEO. Pure says “Craig is an exceptional leader and brings to this position the right mix of people, technology and business skills. I have worked with him extensively in the past and am excited he’s decided to join the team at HealthMEDX. He is a great complement to our experienced leadership team.”

As COO, Frazier will replace Charlie Daniels, HealthMEDX President, who recently announced plans to retire from the organization effective June 30th. Daniels played an instrumental role in creating the company and provided strong leadership for many years. Daniels leaves a strong legacy in long term care, and his work will continue to provide a foundation for future progress and growth. Daniels will remain engaged with HealthMEDX through active participation on an Executive Advisory Board.
