Zenwork Appoints Jeffrey Cronin as Chief Strategy Officer

Fayetteville, AR and Dallas, TX - Zenwork, the award-winning, leading provider of digital tax compliance and regulatory reporting software, announced the appointment of Jeffrey Cronin as Chief Strategy Officer. He brings over two decades of experience in product management, marketing, sales, and global compliance in SaaS, Cloud, and Enterprise software. This appointment positions the company to expand its reach to hundreds of thousands of companies across the world, adding to the 150,000 businesses it currently serves. Cronin will work alongside Zenwork Co-Founder and Chief Executive Officer Sanjeev Singh on initiating positive change across the organization, overseeing strategic planning and management, and bolstering its already successful operations for products under the company's umbrella, including Tax1099, Compliancely, EZ2290, and others.

Cronin began his executive career at Gelco Information Network, where he was VP of Product Marketing for over a decade and was responsible for sales, development, and new global market entry. He then became VP of Product Strategy at Convey, later Sovos Compliance. In that role, he led teams to identify growth opportunities, built category-leading products for target market segments, and served as a compliance industry expert for the sales team and various clients. Later, he moved into the role of General Manager of US Tax Compliance Products, where he expanded Sovos' lead in the 1099 market, developed the award-winning ACA reporting product, partnered with many startups, corporations, and large financial institutions, and was responsible for over $200 million in tax compliance product revenue across 1099, sales tax, and other product lines. Most recently, he was the Chief Product Officer at Ascentis Human Capital Management for five years, where he developed business strategies that served thousands of companies and over one million users. After five years in the HCM space, Cronin returns to the 1099 and compliance market in his new role with Zenwork.

Cronin graduated from the University of Colorado, Boulder with a BA in Physics. He currently resides in Minneapolis, Minnesota with his wife and two children. He is an active supporter of the University of Minnesota Adoption Medicine Clinic, which provides care for hundreds of thousands of adopted and foster care children worldwide. He is also involved with Children's Home Society and Family Services in Minnesota, which provides a voice to adopted and foster youth, birth and first families, and adoptive families. In his spare time, he enjoys working on vintage cars and has a growing collection of guitars.
