Boston, San Francisco, and London, July 7, 2025 – Spectrum Equity is delighted to announce mid-year promotions for three members of our investment team.

Joey Haig has been promoted to Vice President, Anna Yu to Vice President, and Kate Tavella to Associate.

Joey Haig to Vice President

Joey joined our Boston team in 2021 and moved to London in 2023 as part of the founding team of Spectrum’s new Europe office. Joey has had notable impact across the organization and our portfolio since joining the firm, including our investments in VBA, Netcraft, and Benchmark Mineral Intelligence. He has also played a critical role in recruiting and standing up the Europe investment arm, and provides key ongoing mentorship.

Anna Yu to Vice President

Anna joined our San Francisco team in August 2023 after spending time at both JMI and RBC. She has demonstrated a tireless work ethic and creativity, emerging as an important voice in deal discussions and acting as a key mentor for the SF team. Anna plays an active role with portfolio companies Lucid and The Knot Worldwide, along with an announced gaming software company.

Kate Tavella to Associate

Kate joined our San Francisco team in 2023. She has distinguished herself with her boundless work ethic, team-first approach, and commitment to learning and excelling in her role at Spectrum. Kate brings tremendous energy to her origination work and has developed into a trusted resource on live deal diligence.
