Spectrum Equity Announces 2026 Mid-Year Team Promotions

Boston, San Francisco, and London, July 9, 2026 – Spectrum Equity is pleased to announce mid-year promotions for three members of our investment team.

Ohad Yahalom has been promoted to Senior Associate, Maya Edwards to Associate, and Matthias Ferring to Associate.

Ohad Yahalom to Senior Associate

Ohad joined the Boston office in 2022 as an Analyst. He has distinguished himself through his work ethic, drive to find great companies, and his innovative use of AI. Ohad has played an active role in Spectrum’s investments in splose and VBA, and the firm is excited to see his continued growth as a Senior Associate.

Maya Edwards to Associate

Maya joined the Boston office in 2024 as an Analyst. She has demonstrated a tireless work ethic, a team-first approach, and a commitment to continuous improvement across all aspects of the sourcing process. Maya brings real passion to her work at Spectrum and has become a key contributor in sourcing and a trusted resource for live deal diligence. Maya was instrumental in Spectrum’s investment in Quavo.

Matthias Ferring to Associate

Matthias joined the London office as our first Analyst hire in 2024. Since joining, he’s played a key role in our investments in WorkFlex and an unannounced verticalized ERP platform. Along with his investment contributions, Matthias has been a culture carrier and mentor in the London office and beyond.
