Spectrum Equity Ranks #5 on 2025 HEC Paris-Dow Jones Growth Capital Performance Ranking

**Boston, San Francisco, and London, July 13th, 2026 **- Spectrum Equity has been named the #5 top-performing growth equity firm on the 2025 HEC Paris-Dow Jones Growth Capital Performance Ranking, placing the firm in the top 3% of the 183 growth capital firms evaluated worldwide. The ranking, published in July 2026, measures aggregate net fund performance across all core strategy funds raised between 2012 and 2021.
This is Spectrum’s fourth consecutive top-five placement, following top-five rankings in 2022, 2023, and 2024.
The HEC Paris-Dow Jones ranking is based on a quantitative analysis, led by Professor Oliver Gottschalg of HEC Paris. Professor Gottschalg evaluated performance data from 183 growth capital firms and the 440 funds they raised between 2012 and 2021, representing $351 billion in aggregate equity. Each firm’s score aggregates six measures of net fund performance, including IRR, DPI, and TVPI on both an absolute and benchmark-relative basis, weighted across vintage years.
