The Lucid Software Story
Lucid Software is a visual collaboration platform, launched in 2010 by co-founders Ben Dilts and Karl Sun. The company’s flagship product, Lucidchart, is the leading cloud flowcharting and diagramming software, allowing users to create, share, and collaborate on a wide variety of diagrams; Lucidspark (digital whiteboarding) and Lucidscale (cloud visualization) complete their product suite.
Lucid partnered with Spectrum in 2016 as the company was rapidly expanding its large base of individual users and beginning to establish larger enterprise customer relationships. Today, Lucid’s platform is used in 99% of Fortune 500 companies, and has 8,000 enterprise customers including Google, JP Morgan Chase, Royal Bank of Canada, CapitalOne, Amazon, and T-Mobile.
In 2024, Lucid was ranked by Okta as the 12th most widely used enterprise application in the world.
