Boston, San Francisco, and London, January 4, 2026 – As we kick off the new year, Spectrum Equity is proud to announce promotions for six exceptional members of our team.

Two long-tenured members of our investment team have been promoted to Managing Director: Michael Radonich and Matt Neidlinger. Alex Lin has been promoted to Senior Associate.

Three operational team members have also been promoted: Mark Bellis to Deputy General Counsel; Emily Fox to Principal, Market Research and Investment Operations; and Mary Gilles to EA Manager.

Michael Radonich to Managing Director

Michael first joined Spectrum in 2009 as an Associate and rejoined the firm in 2016 after business school. During his tenure, he has played a central role across investments including SavvyMoney, Datassential, Payer Compass, PWN Health/Everlywell, VBA, and RxVantage. Michael has advanced two of the firm’s key verticals – financial technology and healthcare technology – where he has developed deep industry expertise. He is also a valued mentor to junior team members, sharing institutional knowledge across all aspects of our work, from sourcing to diligence to portfolio support.

Matt Neidlinger to Managing Director

Matt joined the San Francisco office in 2016 after roles at Summit Partners, Google, and Collective Health. Over nine years at the firm, he has contributed to investments including AllTrails, Visual Lease, RxVantage, Customer.io, Ease/Employee Navigator, and Poppins Payroll. Matt has established himself as a trusted partner to management teams and a leader in the SF office, mentoring numerous team members and serving as an internal thought leader on AI, healthcare technology, marketing tech, and consumer subscriptions.

Mark Bellis to Deputy General Counsel

Mark joined Spectrum in 2022 as Associate General Counsel and quickly established himself as a trusted advisor across the firm. He expertly manages multiple workstreams and drives complex transactions to close with precision and composure. In his new role, Mark will lead all portfolio company legal matters and continue to play a central role in our M&A activities.

Emily Fox to Principal, Market Research and Investment Operations

Emily joined Spectrum in 2023 and has had an outsized impact in a short time. She brings deep analytical capabilities to competitive analysis, market research, customer surveys, and sourcing operations. Emily has become a go-to resource across deal, talent, investor relations, and finance teams, and is a key contributor at portfolio company summits.

Alex Lin to Senior Associate

Alex joined Spectrum in 2024 after three years at JMI Equity following his graduation from Stanford. In his time at the firm, Alex has consistently been one of our most impactful originators of new opportunities, demonstrating an exceptional ability to identify compelling companies and build relationships with management teams, along with an impressive depth of insight and quality of work on live deals.

Mary Gilles to EA Manager

Mary joined Spectrum in 2020 and has served as Office Manager and Lead Executive Assistant in our Boston office. Among her many contributions, Mary provides executive support to our leadership team and plays a key role in onboarding, office events, and day-to-day operations.
